Please give us a short summary of your website?
We are a Florida Mortgage Broker Lender who will like to help people in our area aquire their dream of owning a home. We are particularlly fund of helping first time home buyers as it gives us a sence of helping some one.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
We Launched our website around 2003 so people could get to see us not just talk to us over the phone. It was a time when people were begining to switch to the internet for just about everything they needed.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
This was our first website.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
The name transconlendinggroup.com came from the corporation which we were licensed under.
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
We are different because we are a real mortgage company offering real help, some times you can come accross a website which refer their inquires, here we handle each client our selves.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
Our goal is to keep our web site and continue to help people who are looking to buy a new home.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
It's is very important to balance the two. As the sayingf goes time is money and money is time.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
If money was not a problem for me I would stop working and go out into the world and help people who are in need of help, financially, in other ways.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Yes we will be able to keep up with the demand because we have a big support staff.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
We have had a slow lull in our housing market and it has affected the bottom line of us and our economy.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Our biggest challenge was to become independent from our trainers and go out on our own appointments and closings.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Good links, good content, updated content, relevant links and the help of Ron our web guy and people like you who are creating good places to link our sites, all the above has been helpfull.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
It has been diffecult to run the office and the website all at once. We definately needed help from someone else so we got Ron the web guy.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
We have had the site for a few years and we will continue to keep it going as long as weare in business.
