Max limits of Fannie and Freddie to be cut down

Quite unsurprisingly, mortgage lender Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac will be cutting the lending limit in some high-cost areas like the counties in the Bay Area. Limits will be cut down to $625,500 from $729,750. Maximum limits in the rest of the nation, however, will not be cut down.

So those who plan to buy a loan between those prices will have to apply immediately.
