Most of the time paying overdue debts can be painful with your wallet. Plus the fact that you cannot negotiate with creditor and collectors to somehow reduce what you owe them. Check your states laws particularly the statue of limitations for collecting debts. Because if the debt is older the the statue of limitations on your state no creditor or collector could take you to court. -more on the permalink
